Kind Of Pretty

tokyo-town.

Finally I am bloggifying my journey to japan this year.

It was a quickie, thats for sure. Only lasted 6 days of frantic movement around the city, which came with 20 hours flying and half a day watching lost on my iphone – sick as a dog.

I don’t know what it is I caught – But it felt like ye old deli belly!

Anyway, tokyo tummy or no tokyo tummy I LOVED my time in japan with fran. We dug around in tokyo, sneakily looking for a place for us to migrate to, sometime in the semi-near future. We spent a lot of time strolling down the isles of Hyaku(100) en(yen) shops, and freezing our butts of in the icy air – then warming them in the toasty trains!

Got to <3 that city.

Me & Franny chowed down on some sushi to get in the zone.

I sometimes freakout and become hypocondriac on planes - dispite loving flying.

Islands over the Pacific:

Any ONE of those islands could have been THE island. I was kind of disappointed that we didn’t crash.

ARRIVAL!

We arrived at our favey airport – Narita – and it was a little nippy, but not nearly as bad as last time.

We hopped onto the warm bus that zipped us into town – This photo makes me look like the german tourist from hell.

Bus ride took around 2 and a half hours – It got dark pretty fast and we drove through the outskirts and into the city at night. Its so pretty!!

We finally reached kichijoji and were picked up by Thomas – who drove us the rest of the way to our Japan Familiar! KAMI SHAKUJI!
