Been on a detox the last 9 days. It was a real struggle on the second day, not being able to just snack on easy, ready to eat food. Bread, rice, tofu and easter eggs were all out of the picture.
Strangely, after the first 4 days, I began to realize that I was feeling much better then usual. ESPECIALLY after cheating on Saturday night and tucking into a tofu pita, my body completely hated it! I felt bloated, greasy and gross.

I miss treating out while I watch DVDs, and I’ll be glad to scoff a whole heap of Japanese fusion tomorrow night – for my birthday dinner ! – but as for daytime biscuits, chips and noondles, Nah! I’m going to try and avoid them.
Tonight I will definitely be having a couple of treats to celebrate officially ending the detox.

summer is saying goodbye! arrrr – I can only watch it from inside my dark office den which is a bit lame. BUT I am planning on taking some time off soon to just do nothing/something worthwhile. I am unclear about my plan right now.

Cute little Echidna with such a weird name.

The Echidna is definitly not, a hedgehog.

Together with the Platypus, they are the only surviving members of that order comprising the only extant mammals that lay eggs. Although their diet consists largely of ants and termites, they are not actually related to the anteater species. They live in New Guinea and Australia. The echidnas are named after a monster in ancient Greek mythology.

I am in the market for a macbook pro.

Definitly not a small purchase, I am currently trying to figure out my macbook needs, and coupling that up with what I can afford to splash out on.
In the mean time – until I save the solid Four Grand I need – I am going to browse the apple online store with big green eyes!

While at Esh’s house, two weeks back, I spotted his mum’s collection of ornate perfume bottles lining the top of her wall mounted draws. They were all delicate and intricate little pieces of art. Thought I had better post them up here…

pretty.

When Esh came back from Australia three months – we started something immense.
We set out to finish the entire LOST series, start to finish. Despite Esh prepping to jet away to asia and me holding down a more-then-full-time job, we got there.

Done and Dusted.
I’m holding off on any more ep’s until he gets back. Don’t skip out on South America to catch up on season five man, it will be here whenever you get back to your second home.
