LED Graffiti

Halo is a project by French artist Aïssa Logerot that replaces tradition paint cans with LED “spraypaint”. Using slow exposure photography and the handheld LED can, you can imitate the technique and visual look of graffiti.

The result still has a way to go to match the freedom you have with paint, but the neat touches; like shaking the can to recharge the LED battery, make this a project to watch.

Expect it to pop up soon in a Kid Cudi or Kanye vid for sure.

halo is a handy light-writing tool, preserving the techniques and gestures that graffiti artists use with spray cans. It is possible to change the color and the brightness of the led to change the graffiti’s styles. If the light doesn’t have enough battery, users simply have to shake it to have energy again.
